“The Chocolate Route”
Guests of Zoëtry Agua have the opportunity to enjoy an educational and entertaining tour of nearby organic cacao plantations. The tour, named 'The Chocolate Route", located in the province of El Seibo, explores the local cacao plantations, discusses the planting, developing and harvesting of the fruit as well as the fermentation processes. The tour ends with a hearty lunch at a local restaurant steeped in local Dominican culture.
